Breathing Process in Humans

                                         




                                          


We take in air through our nostrils. When we inhale air, it passes through our nostrils into the nasal cavity and is sent to the lungs through the wind pipe. The lungs are present in the chest cavity. This cavity is covered by the ribs in the both sides. A large muscular sheet called diaphragm forms the floor. During inhalation, ribs move up and and outwards the diaphragm moves down. This movement increases space in our chest cavity and air rushes into the lungs. The lungs get filled with air. During exhalation, ribs move down and inwards, while diaphragm moves up to its former position. This reduces the size of the chest cavity and air is pushed out of the lungs. This is the breathing process in humans.

Cyclone Formation

                                   




                                        


Before cloud formation water takes up heat from atmosphere to change into water vapor. When water
vapor changes back into liquid form as rain drops, this heat is released to the atmosphere warms the air around.The air tends to rise and causes a drop in pressure. More air rushes to the center of the storm. This cycle is repeated. The chain of events ends with the formation of a very low pressure system with very high speed winds revolving around it. It is this whether condition that we call a cyclone. Factors like wind speed, wind direction, temperature and humidity contribute to the development of cyclones.
